Right now a million coins costs $90.99 on PlayStation, $88.99 on Xbox and $91.99 on PC. Smaller amounts start at 100K, and every platform has its own price because each one has its own market. These numbers come straight from the live prices on this page, so they move with the market during the season.
FC Points are EA's paid currency for packs, so what you get is down to luck. Coins buy the exact players you want on the Transfer Market. If you already know which cards you're after, coins get you there with no gamble.
We use Comfort Trade. After you pay, a trader logs into your club through the Web App and moves the coins in with trades that look like normal play, while you stay logged out. Before that, unlock the Web App Transfer Market and clear your Transfer List and Unassigned Items. You get a tracking link and can follow the order live until the full amount is in. On paper, yes. EA's rules say not to buy coins, and its own list of penalties runs from wiping the coins and locking the Transfer Market up to banning the account from FC online play.
