In 2v2 the best deck is the one that fits your teammate’s. Below are the 5 decks Deck Shop currently picks for 2v2, with card lists and elixir, and the pairing rules we use so two decks cover each other: one heavier and one lighter, and a big spell plus a small spell between you.
TL;DR
Decks
5 current picks
From Deck Shop’s 2v2 League list, all with Evolutions.
Pairing
Heavy plus light
One deck holds the push, the other cycles and defends.
Spells
One big, one small between you
Fireball, Poison, Lightning or Rocket, plus a Log or Zap type.
Data
Picks, not win rates
No 2v2 win-rate data we could verify this week.
2v2 puts you and a teammate against another pair, each with your own deck. You can queue with a friend or a random player; Supercell’s own advice when it launched the 2v2 League was that a regular partner lets you plan your decks together. 2v2 comes and goes with the game’s rotation, so play it while it’s live. Need the wins for a reward before it rotates out? 2v2 wins are what we run for that.

Why there are no win rates here
For ladder and ranked we count real results. For 2v2 we couldn’t find win-rate data we could verify this week, so these are a specialist site’s current picks, not a ranking. We’ll add numbers when there’s a source worth trusting.

A top player teams up with you, or plays for you, until you have the 2v2 wins you need.
One heavy, one light
If both decks are heavy, you both run out of elixir at the same time and get punished. Pair a big push with a faster cycle.
One big spell, one small spell
Between you, carry a Fireball, Poison, Lightning or Rocket for big groups and a Log, Zap or Barbarian Barrel for swarms.
Both of you stop air
Balloon and Lava pushes walk through a pair where only one player can hit air.
Talk about the win condition
Decide whose push you’re building. Two half pushes in different lanes rarely beat one full one.
Applying those rules to the decks above, these are the pairs that fit best:
Player 1
Evo Goblin Drill, Goblinstein, Evo Bomber, Guards, Ice Spirit, Cannon, Poison, The Log
Player 2
Evo P.E.K.K.A, Balloon, Evo Electro Dragon, Lumberjack, Ice Wizard, Freeze, Tornado, Barbarian Barrel
Player 1
Evo Royal Giant, Royal Ghost, Evo Bomber, Fisherman, Phoenix, Electro Spirit, Lightning, The Log
Player 2
Evo P.E.K.K.A, Ram Rider, Evo Electro Dragon, Royal Ghost, Ice Wizard, Guards, Rage, Tornado
There’s no single best one, because it depends on your teammate. Deck Shop’s current picks include Evo Goblin Drill Goblinstein Cannon, Evo Royal Giant Lightning, Evo P.E.K.K.A Ram Rider Rage.
Pair one heavier deck with one lighter deck, carry one big and one small spell between you, and make sure both players can hit air.
Yes. You can queue with a friend or a random player, though a regular partner lets you plan your decks together.
A 2v2 event Supercell launched in November 2024: a Casual League with 30 steps, then a Competitive League with an individual leaderboard and badges.
