Hardstuck Platinum Guide - Macro Fixes for the Next Tier

Last updated: 10 Jan 2026

Platinum is where matchup depth and macro discipline decide games. If you win lane but still lose games, this guide is for you.

1) Matchup Depth Matters

At this tier, you need more than mechanics. You need matchup rules:

  • When to trade
  • When to freeze
  • When to roam

Write down matchup notes after every game.

2) Objective Timing Wins Games

Platinum games are decided at objectives. Plan for dragon and Herald 60 seconds before they spawn.

3) Fight Discipline

Only fight when your wave is set and your team can follow. Random fights throw leads.

4) Vision as a Win Condition

If you control vision, you control fights. Buy control wards every reset and sweep before objectives.

5) Champion Pool Discipline

Stick to 2–3 champions. The goal is to reduce decision mistakes, not to surprise the enemy.

Quick Improvement Plan

  • Review your last 3 teamfights
  • Identify if you fought on a bad wave
  • Track objective timers every minute
